The District Office is open Monday thru Friday 7am - 4pm
The availability of a drive-thru and a night deposit is on right side of the building.
Billing for The Plains area is done the 10th of every month for the previous month. Payments are due on the last day of the billing month. Shut-offs for anyone two months behind are on the 6th of every month.

The Athens County Water & Sewer District is currently accepting payments online.
There is a link at the top of the page. Service fees apply for all online payments.

US 50 Sanitary Sewer Project
As a part of securing the current funding and obtaining approval to move forward from the funders,
the County has agreed to implement a $25.00 per EDU / month sewer fee starting in January 2021 and
continuing until December 2022 when we anticipate connections can occur on the first phases.
This fee will be billed quarterly. The first bills were mailed on
March 2, 2021 with a due date of April 15, 2021.
